Offices
Compare conditions in offices, meeting rooms and staff facilities.
eMonit Cloud IoT
Check temperatures in offices, production halls and warehouses. Measurements, history and alerts in one system. Wired, LoRaWAN or GSM solutions.
Find your solutionFrom reading to response
See the current temperature and review what happened during a shift. In eMonit Cloud IoT you can compare rooms without collecting readings manually.
Alert delay and hysteresis help adjust responses to short-term fluctuations. Features, data retention and notification channels are agreed for the deployment.
Temperature at a selected point on the site.
Through a suitable module or gateway and an internet connection.
Readings in the dashboard. An alert when the configured conditions are met.
Compare conditions in offices, meeting rooms and staff facilities.
Track temperatures at workstations throughout a shift.
Check differences between zones. Add humidity measurement if needed.
Technology suited to the building
The choice depends on sensor locations, power supply and network access. We will help select a suitable option.
Are cable routes available? Connect fixed measurement points to a module or data logger.
Want to reduce cabling? Sensors transmit measurements by radio to a LoRaWAN gateway.
No corporate LAN available? A GSM module sends site data over the cellular network.
Technologies can be combined. For example, a sensor can use LoRaWAN while the gateway uses GSM to send data to the internet. Device compatibility is confirmed before deployment.
Polish workplace safety and weather conditions
The changes concern high temperatures caused by weather conditions. Thresholds depend on the location and type of work. Monitoring helps observe conditions and notify those responsible for taking action.
The new section 30a of Poland's general occupational health and safety regulations takes effect on . Existing workplace safety requirements apply until then.
| Conditions and temperature | Required response |
|---|---|
| Indoors: above 28°C | Technical measures to reduce temperature or appropriate organisational measures. |
| Indoors, strenuous physical work*: above 25°C | A lower threshold for technical or organisational measures. |
| Outdoors: above 25°C | Organisational measures to reduce the impact of temperature on health. |
| Indoors: above 35°C | As a general rule, work must stop while the threshold is actually exceeded. |
| Outdoors, strenuous physical work*: above 32°C | As a general rule, this work must stop while the threshold is actually exceeded. |
* Effective energy expenditure per shift: more than 1,500 kcal for men and 1,000 kcal for women.
Important qualifications: the regulation addresses technological considerations and exemptions specified in section 30a(8). Organisational rules require consultation and employee information. Apply the details to the individual workplace with its occupational health and safety staff.
Legal basis: Polish Journal of Laws 2026, item 927, and commencement date, full regulation text (PDF, Polish). Information current as of:
Monitoring supports the assessment of working conditions, but purchasing a system does not itself ensure legal compliance or replace required testing and workplace safety procedures.
Choosing a solution
A brief description or floor plan is enough. You do not need to know sensor models or select the technology yourself.
Describe your siteWhere will measurements be taken? How many points? Temperature only, or humidity too?
Is LAN available? Can cables be installed? Is there cellular coverage?
Who should respond and what measurement history do you need?
Yes, we can select a mixed setup. Before deployment, we check protocols, supported devices and how data reaches eMonit. Compatibility of existing sensors must be confirmed first.
No. A LoRaWAN sensor communicates by radio with a gateway, not directly with the cellular network. A SIM card may be needed in the gateway or modem if cellular connectivity is selected for internet access.
Access to new online readings depends on connectivity. The system can notify you of missing transmissions, while local storage and later upload depend on the device. Mention this requirement when selecting equipment.
Yes, with suitable sensors. Measurement range, accuracy and sensor verification requirements are agreed for each application. Not every temperature sensor also measures humidity.
Pricing depends on the number of measurement points, sensor types, wired or wireless infrastructure, data transmission and service scope. An initial selection needs a site description, room count and preferred notification method.
Measurement supports assessment of working conditions. Sensor data can help analyse and document changes. Monitoring does not replace occupational risk assessment or required workplace environment testing. Measurement requirements and response procedures should be agreed with the person responsible for occupational health and safety.
An office, a production hall or several locations? We will select the measurement and communication approach.
